About The Role:

Our client is seeking a full-time Educational Support Advisor to join their growing and outgoing team. They deliver upbeat and focused short courses aimed at providing learners with a friendly and positive learning experience. They offer both government-funded projects and commercial courses in Maths, English, and ICT. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in business development and education.

The Educational Support Advisor (ESA) will be a key supporting role within the Student Services Team, working on a range of government-funded projects such as Adult Education Budget, UK Prosperity Fund, Multiply, and Apprenticeship Contracts. The ESA will provide initial advice and guidance to prospective learners, ensure compliance with enrolment processes, and support learners throughout their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer initial advice and guidance to prospective learners.

Liaise with students to ensure they provide all necessary documents for eligibility, including certificates for maths and English and residency evidence prior to enrolment.

Ensure all students complete initial assessments before starting their learning programs.Utilize the CRM (FLIP) system to manage client information, track interactions, and facilitate efficient communication.

Follow up on learner inquiries via social media and provide further information to prospective learners, progressing them to the onboarding stage if interested.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with learners.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth handling of inquiries and enrolments.

Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding day-to-day activities and updates.

Provide comprehensive support, advice, and guidance to learners, customers, and colleagues.

Uphold company values and expected behaviours in all interactions and activities.

Promote equal opportunities and diversity recognition throughout the organization.

Adhere to Safeguarding, Prevent, and Health and Safety Policies, remaining vigilant to potential concerns and risks.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Quality assure enrolment paperwork for adult learners (AEB) during onboarding.

Cross-reference PLR from the Learner Records Service and Skills Gap Analysis/Score Card to support any deduction of funding.

Support the Head of MIS and Compliance in undertaking internal audits to ensure a complete evidence pack is in place for learners, in line with apprenticeship funding rules.Issue and analyze learner surveys, sharing findings with the wider organization.
Essential/Desirable Criteria:

Proficient in English and Maths (E)

IT Literate (E)

Prior experience in a customer service or sales role (E)

Office-based experience with proficiency in outbound calls (D)

Previous experience in compliance (D)

High degree of accuracy (E)

Ability to meet targets and work to deadlines (E)

Knowledge of the ILR and ESFA data collection requirements (D)
