Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Due to increased demand, our client now has a requirement for a CNC Milling Machinist.
365 Resourcing are the preferred supplier to Mazak.
The Role:
* - Operate and set up the CNC milling machines working to drawings & 3D models.
* - Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
* - Actively engage with all company Quality Control initiatives.
* - Reduce the amount of reworked parts or amendments.
The CNC Milling Machinist experience and qualifications required:
* Previous CNC multi-axis milling machine experience, ideally with Mazatrol understanding.
* Program, Set and Operate Large 5 Axis machines that produce Large fully machined machine tool parts to tolerances of 10 microns.
* Ability to work to engineering drawings.
* Strong communication skills working with Supervisor, Team Leaders and peers on the shop floor.
* Team player who can work to targets and deadlines.
* Highly motivated, proactive and be actively involved with continuous improvement activities.
* Build relationships with the team and supply areas.
* Ability to work under pressure but still work to very high standards.
* Understand modern tooling and machining methods.

* Working the rotational shift pattern which is AM Shift 05:30 - 13:30 Monday to Friday and then on the PM Shift 14:00 - 22:30 Monday to Thursday and a 20:00 finish on the Friday. Possible nights if necessary which would be 22:00 - 06:00 Sunday to Thursday.
* Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
