Job Title: Mechanical Estimator - HVAC (Building Services)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building services, particularly in HVAC systems. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and HVAC projects.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop comprehensive estimates.
3. Conduct site visits and assessments to understand the scope of work and identify potential challenges.
4. Prepare and present cost estimates and bid proposals to clients and management.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs.
6. Identify and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
7. Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services industry, with a focus on HVAC systems.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices.
3. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
