A principle contractor with a rapidly growing reputation for delivering complex and challenging projects in the UK will be a looking to appoint a new Senior Project Manager.
As part of their growing and collaborative growth strategy with their long term partners, they will be embarking on an exciting £25m refurbishment of a former retail building in to an ambitious 150 bed hotel in the heart of a West Midlands town, that will start August 2024,
Leading a strong a site team, which will include a Project Manager and several construction managers you will provided with the relevant support to deliver this scheme in early 2026.
The company will appeal to you if you are interested in a variety of refurbishment and new build projects within hotel, retail and commercial sectors.
In your role, as Project Manager you will have complete autonomy to deliver successfully on quality, cost, time and safety:
Responsibilities:

• Day to day, setting and reviewing target programming, coordinate sub-contractors; develop scope with QS for the packages.
• Managing H&S, ensuring RAMS are in place and reviewed, monitoring and supervising site activities.
• Chairing client meetings, design team meetings and sub-contractor meetings
• Producing and monitoring IRS and RFIs schedules.
• Producing project reports.
• Monitoring overview of project and programme notifying client of delays and programme implications.
• Recording design changes and confirm back to client team.
• Manage contractors, chase specialist design and drive progress on site.
• Compile evidence for BREEAM and Sustainability schemes.
Experience and Attributes:
• A minimum of 15 years' experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager with an established Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
• Able to demonstrate shared value of the business.
• Proven experience of delivering projects over £20m from start to completion.
• Conversant with either Asta or Microsoft Project.
• Client-facing.
• A trade or academic background would be welcome
