Looking for a graduate/early career surveyor - pay rate £13.70 - £18.53
We are seeking a surveyor to support Team Leaders and Senior Surveyors in the management of the Council's land and property assets. Some experience of acquisitions, disposals and/or commercial property management, particularly in a Local Authority setting would be beneficial, but support will be provided. Potential candidates should however have the aptitude to work independently and take the lead in managing their own workload, with appropriate supervision.
We are particularly looking for someone who can provide support senior colleagues in delivering the Council's 5 year disposal programme and the management of the Council's commercial property portfolio. The workload will include (but not limited to) letting of vacant units/sites (including assessing the market rent and preparation of particulars), carrying out viewings and inspections and dealing with enquiries from tenants, purchasers, agents and colleagues in other teams of the Council
