Mechanical Fitter

Due to an expansion an experienced Mechanical Fitter is required for a well-established manufacturing business in Llanelli, South Wales. This full-time Mechanical Fitter role comes with an attractive salary up to £30,000 per annum and benefits. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a rapidly growing industry sector.

This role would suit someone who has previous experience working with Car Engines either in a workshop environment, or someone that enjoys working on engines and vehicles as a hobby,

The company will look to put you through training courses where necessary and you will enjoy the support of highly skilled and knowledgeable engineering teams.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be required to address these areas:

Work on internal combustion engines
Read and understand engineer drawings
Use hand and power tools daily including spanners and torque wrenches
Collect data via mechanical and electronic equipment
Test, gather data and analyse to report on findings, using internal software tools, Excel and PowerPoint.
The company is looking for someone who is mechanically competent and able to assemble and disassemble engines, has experience with hand and power tools including ratchets and spanners, and is happy getting their hands dirty. The ideal candidate will be practically minded, proactive and have excellent attention to detail.
