Engineering Coordinator

Do you have Engineering Coordinator experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Coventry? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Engineering Coordinator, and the hybrid role comes with an umbrella contract rate of £28.89/hr (inside IR35). The contract will initially run until the end of March 2025, and will be based in Whitley with occasional travel to other Midlands sites (Wolverhampton, Warwickshire).

In your first few weeks in this Engineering Coordinator role, you can expect to:

Lead & support the Engineering team members & functional representatives in the planning, co-ordination, approval, reporting & delivery of all programme activities
Develop and maintain deliverable programme plans
Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the development and achievement of detailed work stream plans
Analyse and report progress against the plans and work closely with the Engineers to mitigate risks to the achievement of the plan
Compile management reports and associated metrics to support management reviews

Experience using Microsoft Software Packages (Word, Presentation, Excel, Project), SharePoint & office 360
Good interpersonal skills
Agile working – ability to change in a fast-moving programme landscape
Experience working with stakeholders to identify & plan containment actions to ensure overall programme timing is maintained
Experience running/supporting planning reviews to keep suppliers/engineers/project team aligned & informed
