Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading construction company operating within the Rail sector is seeking to employ several Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on a major project in the West Yorkshire region.
Our client is working on a major railway scheme involving considerable civil engineering works as well as interacting with some track based work, signalling and stations work.
You will be required to mentor and supervise junior staff in order to aid in their development and produce subcontract documentation, issue tender enquiries, analyse tenders and undertake the commercial management of subcontractors. Produce and report on monthly cost reports, attend site commercial meetings, carry out staff performance reviews.
We require candidates to have :
Previous experience of civil engineering schemes.
Member of CICES or RICS or working towards
Able to mentor others
Successful previous experience at SQS level.
It would be beneficial to have experience in target price contracts, working on an alliance or joint venture and working on rail schemes.
