Job Description
Spark Foundry's HR team is seeking an Associate Director to drive people initiatives in support of our New York office. The Associate Director will be responsible for helping to manage the day-to-day HR function and drive programs and initiatives for employees across several locations. Not only will you work in lock step with our internal client teams; but you will also work with the broader HR Team on initiatives to cultivate our unique culture and people practices. We foster a community of Talent made up of trusted advisors to our clients and one another, trail blazers with innovative thinking, makers adept at crafting insightful work, connectors who love collaboration, and experts who contribute to the support and advancement of our business.
This role reports into our VP, HR, and is based in our New York office.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver strategic Talent consulting to internal clients with a focus on strategic staff planning and development
Assess and determine the appropriate HR Strategy.  We are constantly reassessing how we work and look for better/more efficient ways to support Spark  
Help drive-added Talent programs such as leadership development programs, performance management, employee recognition and retention
Oversee all employee relations matters and investigations to minimize organizational risk
Build effective relationships and provide excellent client service by ensuring a positive employee experience
Partner with leadership on action plans from employee engagement survey results
Provide counseling and support on corporate policies and benefit programs
Advise and respond quickly to management needs regarding general Talent & HR issues 
Work with an agile mindset.  Projects and initiatives will move very fast, and often with incomplete information
Identify, develop, and deliver metrics and insights that will enhance service to the business and operational effectiveness in key areas.
Research, design, and implement reporting and analytics solutions that are more sustainable and scalable
Understanding of how to develop and storytell insights for leadership
