Mechanic Technician

BE Staffing Solutions is a leading staffing agency specializing in providing quality workforce solutions to various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic Technician to join our team.
As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on terminal trains and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
Use computerized diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot issues
Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance tasks performed
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the shop and equipment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Mechanic Technician
Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance techniques
Ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
