Job Description
Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5/6 children
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to pupils, parents, and school leadership
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary school setting
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of children
Proficient in classroom management techniques
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Passion for education and fostering a love of learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with temporary contract
Typical school hours, Monday to Friday
Classroom-based teaching with additional responsibilities as required
