Mechanical Engineer

4 on 4 off Day Shifts
Responsibilities:
* The Mechanical Engineer must Maintain, service, and repair machinery used in manufacturing.
* The Mechanical Engineer must Minimize production downtime and keep work areas clean.
* The Mechanical Engineer must Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Manufacturing background is preferred but not required.
* Completed apprenticeship with at least mechanical qualifications.
* Able to read engineering diagrams.
* Familiar with safety and light circuits, inverters, PLC systems, relays, and speed control systems.
* Skilled in working with sensors.
* The Mechanical Engineer must have Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems is a plus.
* Mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics is beneficial.
* Capable of prioritizing and planning tasks under pressure.
* The Mechanical Engineer must Follow health and safety protocols and manual handling procedures
