Vanbrugh Group are a Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy who recruit Commercial and Production staff for our clients.
We have been appointed by one of our partners who are looking to recruit a Degree Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. The company are a main contractor, based in South East London who have been established for over 60 years. They undertake new build and refurbishment projects in Central and Greater London on behalf of high profile public and private sector clientele. The projects are all JCT contracts with values to £5M.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is educated to A Level (or equivalent) standard who wishes to embark on a fully funded Quantity Surveying degree apprenticeship from Sept 2024.
The company have an excellent track record in training and developing Quantity Surveyors, supporting them all the way through to RICS accreditation and beyond.

In the process of completing their A Level or equivalent academic qualification
Numerate, organised with strong analytical skills

The Position:
Provide support to the site based Commercial Team
Financial cost control of current contracts
Financial reporting of current contracts
Improving financial return of current contracts
Cost Control of building contracts
Purchasing and negotiating Sub Contract orders
Paying and monitoring Subcontractor progress
Cost reporting and forecasting
Client Liaison and Value forecasting for Client Team
Active involvement with Bill of Quantities, Take-Offs, Valuations, Variations and Estimates
Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and or Commercial Manager
