As the Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting monthly valuations
- Implementing site cost control measures
- Regular communication with project teams
- Collaborating with client QS's and construction personnel on construction matters and variations
- Managing the procurement process and selecting specialist subcontractors in coordination with the buying team
The ideal candidate for the Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager role will possess:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Comprehensive understanding of brickwork contracts
- Relevant qualifications such as Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, preferably with corporate membership
- Demonstrated experience in managing various contract forms and Manual of Contract Documents within the brickwork sector
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective cross-departmental collaboration within the organization
