Due the growing popularity of the Cafe at the Appleby Hub we are looking to enhance our existing team of Waiting on/Front of House and Kitchen Teams.

Front of House / Cook - The Role:
The Cafe at the Hub in Appleby has become an increasingly popular place to visit, serving fresh homemade food simply, but skilfully prepared, cooked and creatively presented in our friendly local Cafe.
We source the very best ingredients, whilst trying to use local and seasonal produce wherever possible.
You will be responsible for:
• Meet and greet customers and offer cafe menus
• Answer questions about menu offerings
• Processing food and drink orders
• Making sure orders are correct, the food comes out in good time, and customers have everything they need.
• Setting and clearing tables
• Preparing bills and processing payments
An Enhanced DBS will be required for each successful candidate (Paid for by Right2work, T&Cs apply)
Front of House / Cook - The candidate:
We are seeking:
• An all-round reliable staff member with flexible time to cover for sick leave and annual leave including weekdays and Saturdays and some evening events.
• A cheerful efficient person with front of house experience preferred and or an experienced cook or competent amateur cook
You will work with the general public, your colleagues and alongside adults with learning disabilities so excellent communication skills are essential, ensuring the highest quality of customer service at all times.
Previous front of house experience is desired but not essential.
