Stores and Facilities Support Person - Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are working with a leading manufacturer of production and automation machine systems. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality equipment and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Stores and Facilities Support Person to join their team.

Key Responsibilities of Stores and Facilities Support Person

Daily Delivery Management:

Coordinate and handle the daily delivery of machinery, consumables and parts to be stored in the warehouse.
Prepare, pack, and post parts and consumables to Customers and Engineers efficiently.
Inventory Management:

Keep track of stock levels, ensuring adequate inventory of parts, and machine consumables and office supplies.
Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
Site and Facilities Maintenance:

Maintain the site facilities to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Perform routine basic maintenance on demonstration machinery to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Urgent Deliveries and Support:

Complete urgent delivery of parts and components to engineers as required.
Occasionally attend customer sites with Field Engineers to support them as an engineering mate.

Qualifications and Skills of Stores and Facilities Support Person :

Driving License required
Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A basic understanding of machinery and engineering components would be an advantage
A counterbalance forklift truck license would be an advantage, although training can be provided.

Salary £25k to £30k depending on experience and working hours Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours (flexible between 7 am - 6 pm)
