Key Details:

- Position: Business Development Manager

- Contract Type: Permanent

- Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per year basic salary (First year OTE £100k-£120k+)

- Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (remote role with occasional travel for client meetings!! Majority of client base is in London so must be within a commutable distance.

Regular social activities.Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and manage successful business relationships in the security industry. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and collaborate with various departments to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently. You will have the autonomy to grow and develop a Sales/Business Development team!!

This would be an ideal role for someone who comes from a background in Security/ Telecoms/ Technical Electricals.

Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities:

🤝 Develop and build relationships with potential and existing clients in the security industry.

📈 Develop and execute a business plan to grow revenue for the company.

🎯 Identify new business opportunities, including new markets and clients.

🔀 Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to develop strategies and improve service delivery.

🔍 Analyse market trends and customer feedback to suggest product or service improvements.

🤝 Participate in cross-functional teams and manage the sales process from lead generation to contract execution.

💼 Develop pricing strategies, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

🎤 Create and deliver presentations and proposals to key decision-makers.

🌐 Systematically network with clients' decision-makers to ensure maximum coverage.

Experience, Licences & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential.
At least 5 years of business development experience in the security industry
In-depth knowledge of the industry and its trends
Strong track record of driving revenue growth
Experience with the full sales cycle
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
