The Graduate:

At least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field.
Dedication to the education and wellbeing of pupils aged 3-7.
Commitment to following safeguarding processes and procedures.
Natural ability to build strong bonds with young children.
Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory. 
The Role
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum. You will provide 1-2-1 and small group support to KS1 pupils across the syllabus to aid their progression and development as they begin their education journey. It is essential that you build positive relationships with both pupils and staff in order to create a productive learning environment. You will partake in staff meetings and parents’ evenings and participate in activities with the wider school community.
