Job Role: Senior / Principal Structural Engineer
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
Location: Derby or Coleshill
Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking for a new challenge?
If so, my client are going through an exciting time with significant growth in their water team.
Job role and responsibilities:
As a senior member of our Structural Engineering team you will be leading the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across a variety of clean and wastewater projects. In addition, you will be partnering with our clients across the UK and will play a key role in exceeding their requirements through the technical delivery of projects.
You will report directly to our Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead; developing our structural knowledge and capability.
In this role you will carry out and take the lead on structural engineering design for concrete, steel and masonry structures. You will also carry out structural inspections and produce accurate reports that define requirements for asset maintenance and modification to meet client and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Experience required:
A proven track record of structural engineering within the water sector with a desire to work in a Design & Build environment
Good knowledge of structural analysis and ability to use Microsoft Excel and design software
Degree qualified in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
Membership of a relevant professional institution
Good track record for the design of water retaining structures to construction standard using Eurocodes
Good working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
This role is office based but may require some travelling within the UK occasionally.
