For: Production Supervisor

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for an engineering company in the Sheffield area who are looking for an experienced production supervisor to join their existing team.
Duties:
* Management of the existing team, including appraisals, absence management, and return to work paperwork
* Ensure production is running smoothly and in a safe manner
* Investigation of quality issues and ensure root cause corrective action is taken
* Organise, plan and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines
* Skills management by use of the skills matrix, running skills assessments and identifying skills gaps.
* Creating, implementing and verifying the training plans.
* To control and reduce production costs with the shopfloor areas
Experience Needed:
* Previous experience in Manufacturing/Engineering
* Experience managing the daily and weekly production of a busy department.
* Able to demonstrate an excellent record of successful project planning and execution.
* Previous experience in a similar role
Salary up to £38,000 per annum
