Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new challenge?
 
Our client is seeking a skilled individual to work with brand new systems for engines and power train systems, as well as modifications to existing designs.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Develop design solutions based on initial briefs by creating layouts and verifying them through calculations, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques where appropriate.
Produce manufacturing drawings, including assemblies and specifications for the final design.
Control product realization, including manufacturing aspects, to achieve the most effective design.
Define and manage product build definitions to ensure the component database remains accurate.
Authorize engineering changes and concessions for nonconforming products.
Manage in-service product safety incidents, including risk analysis and production of closing reports.
Investigate in-service product failures and create failure reports.
Mechanical Design Engineer Experience

Hold a first degree in an Engineering subject or possess 3 years of relevant experience in rotating or heavy engineering products.
Have experience with 2D and 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Familiarity with AutoCAD and Inventor design software is desirable but not essential.
