Accounts Assistant/Administrator – Permanent Contract to start ASAP!!!
Location: Hockley, Birmingham
Hours of Work: 8.00am – 5.00pm – Mon – Fri (40hrs)
Salary: £23,920pa - £27,000pa (£11.50ph - £12.98ph) (DOE)

Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar account’s role is essential.
* Knowledge of both accounts receivable and accounts payable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
* Knowledge of Microsoft office essential
* Excellent customer service skills
* High level of attention to detail, driven by procedures
Duties:
* Purchase ledger processing invoices and reconcile purchase ledger.
* Sales Ledger raising sales invoices.
* Post staff expenses, and credit card receipt and reconcile.
* Updating spreadsheets for vehicle fleet and training matrix
* Answer incoming calls (take messages / transfer / deal with as necessary)
* If required due to staff holidays
* Schedule work with clients and produce all necessary documentation for clients and operatives.
* Process new clients onto the Opera system, assisting sales with admin to update system.
* Update work planner as required, liaise with project managers.
* Take payments by credit card, processed on world pay.
* Deal with day-to-day office requirements, courier & post
* Deal with enquiries from clients either over the phone or via e-mail.
* Deal with enquiries from operatives to ensure smooth running of jobs.
* Chase suppliers and track supply of goods for work to be carried out on time.
* General office administration
* Supervising 2 admin staff daily
