Responsibilities:
* Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of childcare practitioners, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards, including health and safety protocols.
* Plan and oversee daily activities, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and developmentally appropriate for children.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Collaborate with management and stakeholders to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's development, progress, and incidents.
* Handle inquiries and concerns from parents or guardians professionally and promptly.
* Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
* Stay updated on industry trends, child development research, and educational methodologies.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare or educational setting.
* Relevant qualifications in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3 Diploma).
* Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
