Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer who is proficient in Dynamics 365 Business Central to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI solutions tailored to our clients' needs, with a focus on extracting insights from Dynamics 365 BC data.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design Power BI solutions that address their needs.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data from Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Utilize advanced Power BI features such as DAX calculations, custom visuals, and data modelling to enhance reporting capabilities.
Implement data integration and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.
Optimize performance and scalability of Power BI solutions, including data refresh schedules and query optimization.
Provide technical support and training to end users on Power BI usage and best practices.
1-2 years' experience in office environment - working on data migration/ data analysis/ system redesign / system design or project management. Desirable.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a focus on Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, DAX calculations, and visualization design.
Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central data structures and schema.
Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Expert in the Azure Data tech stack, specifically delivering solutions in Power BI. Essential.
Proficient in database design, including relational and dimensional modelling. Essential. 
Expert in MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Power Query, MDX, DAX, and the Power Platform. Essential.

Salary: £40k - £50k (depending on experience)
