Design Manager
Our client is seeking to recruit a Design Manager to join their team, working on Super Prime Residential schemes across London.
As the Design Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring that drawings are ready on time, reviewing designs and sending them to the appropriate people.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Perform design assessments, documenting observations, and presenting detailed reports to directors.
* Chair planning meetings, promoting effective communication, and ensuring strict adherence to design timelines.
* Work closely with the on-site team to evaluate the practicality and feasibility of design suggestions, incorporating valuable insights into the development process.
* Manage document controllers, design managers, and coordinators to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of project tasks.
* Collaborate with the design team to negotiate and finalize responsibilities, scope, and deliverables, fostering a cooperative and efficient work environment.
* Supervise design consultants, subconsultants, and subcontractors, guaranteeing the timely and accurate provision of design information crucial for on-site completion.
