Geography Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ignite students' curiosity about the world around them and foster a deeper understanding of geography through engaging lessons and hands-on experiences.

Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching pay scale - Final salary based on experience

As a Geography Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive geography lessons that captivate students' interest and promote active learning.

* Teaching a wide range of geographical concepts, including physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global perspectives.

* Using a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities and ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed.

* Incorporating fieldwork and practical investigations into lessons to provide students with real-world experiences and deepen their understanding of geographical concepts.

* Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills by challenging students to analyse and interpret geographical data, maps, and other sources of information.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* An Enhanced DBS check to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.

* Previous experience teaching geography or related subjects in a school or educational setting.

* A QTS or relevant teaching qualification with a specialization in geography or earth sciences.

* A deep passion for geography and a strong commitment to inspiring and motivating students to explore and appreciate the world around them.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students from diverse backgrounds and create a positive learning environment.
