We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive company based in the Leeds area. Specialising in a variety of aftercare products and operating worldwide this is an amazing opportunity to join a brilliant team and grow your career.
They are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy team
Main duties include:
*
Leading a small team of between 10-14 warehouse operatives.
*
Manage incoming stock deliveries, assigning the stock to the correct warehouse locations and ensuring that delivery notes are correct and recorded.
*
Work with the Purchasing and Logistics team to co-ordinator and advise on inbound deliveries from suppliers and outbound deliveries to customers.
*
Assist with the pick and pack of outgoing deliveries as and when required.
*
Oversee all health and safety aspects of the warehouse.
*
Daily management of the assigned pickers, packers & goods-in.
*
Conduct investigation/disciplinary meetings if/when required
*
Organise rotas and holiday for warehouse staff
The ideal candidate will have:
*
An understanding of working with hazardous goods in Limited Quantity and undertake courses as and when required
*
Experience of working with a barcoded picking, packing and goods-in system
*
Hold a reach and counterbalance forklift licence (ESSENTIAL)
*
Skilled with MS Applications, particularly Excel, Word and ERP Systems
*
Hold a clean driver’s licence (minimum travel may be required)
*
3-5 years hands on warehouse supervisor experience
*
Experience in the automotive industry (ESSENTIAL)
