Worldpay is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to work as a key team member to help deliver software that meets high quality standards. We need someone who is willing to learn and help deliver quality through the whole development lifecycle, right from requirements analysis through test scripting, test execution and test reporting. The Automation Engineer will work as a member of Software Development team to interpret functional requirements; build and execute automated tests to deliver complex payment APIs; adhere to and enforce SDLC process and procedures; lead and mentor team members; and report to leadership on project statuses and support existing products and services.
Plans, design, and develop and tests B2B products and services with Engineering lead for Cloud using a microservices approach
Analyze requirements for complex payment systems and deliver test recommendations
Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests
Identify, log and track software defects
Continually build knowledge and proficiency in testing methodologies
Provide release readiness recommendations based on test execution and defect metrics
Participate in SAFe and Agile meetings as appropriate
5+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, Web applications, and Windows services.
Proficient in the use of at least one test automation framework.
Experience with any of these technologies is a plus: Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra/NoSQL databases, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Git, Jenkins.
Ability to work within a very collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Must be detail oriented.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Understanding of cloud technologies, AWS experience
Payments Industry experience
Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

The pay range for this full-time position is $87,430.00 - $(phone number removed) and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
