I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading developer for a general foreman to oversee external works on site.
The package that the successful general foreman will be groundworks and brickwork packages, therefore prior experience in these fields is necessary.
The role is contracted to run until August/September, however there is a likelihood that this will tick on further than this.
Duties:
* Manage and Laise with Groundworkers on daily basis resurfacing a live road
* Ensuring Highway specification is adhered too.
* Calling in Highways for Key stage Inspections
* Ensuring Health and Safety in kept to good standard with a good proactive hands on attitude ( understanding of Traffic management in Key )
* Must have Very Strong Communication skills Daily Briefings and liaising with Logistic / Site Team
* Must be good at planning works , not in sense of Programming on Asta , marking up drawings.
* Must have a Good understanding of Drainage and Services
* Be able to Read Drawings
Necessary Credentials:
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid
