We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This position is responsible for identifying and cultivating new client relationships. This person will focus on attracting, engaging, and consulting with SMB owners and leaders on their technology needs and challenges with the goal of growing the business.

Reporting directly to the Director of Growth, the ideal candidate will be eager to learn about our business and advance their professional growth with us.
Responsibilities include:
Generate new qualified Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) leads through research, email, outbound calling, and response to inbound inquiries.
Qualify prospects utilizing professional communication and sales skills, to identify the decision maker(s), document needs/pain, and capture network details for pricing / minimum MRR requirements.
Book first-time appointments (FTAs) for sales team with qualified prospects.
Log and update all prospecting activity in the CRM.
Help plan and execute events to drive new business.
Perform market research and assist with development of industry-specific campaigns, marketing, and service.
Willingness to adopt new sales tools and approach new strategies with a “fail fast” approach.
Join appointments periodically to build consultative sales and negotiation skills.
Assist with other areas of the sales process as assigned.
Assist with other areas of the marketing process as assigned.
Attend networking and association events on behalf of Wolf Consulting.
Attend regularly scheduled and ad hoc department meetings.
Requirements
Preferred candidates for this role will have:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience and/or training is helpful.
0-2 years of experience and results in sales, prospecting, lead generation, and appointment setting is preferred.
Basic computer experience (Windows, Office, email, web browsing) as well as basic knowledge of common computer terms and functions is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team setting.
Experience in a customer-facing role is helpful.
Familiarity with Pittsburgh’s cultural and business environment is a plus.
Prior experience using a CRM is helpful.
Sandler Selling System training, experience and certification is preferred and helpful.
