Senior Electrical Project Engineer

We are currently working with a leading engineering contractor with a strong presence delivering flagship projects across the UAE and middle east who are looking for a senior electrical project engineer to join their team to initially deliver a notable data centre in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to an electrical lead, you will join a talented team from a very early stage of the project, managing the pre-construction duties before going to site later this year to take control of a complex part of the electrical package from a technical and management perspective.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the Engineering Manager in meeting project objectives.
• Prepare and submit technical documents for approval.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and specialists on product specifications, validation, and value engineering.
• Assist in project engineering and design progression.
• Work with clients, design team members, and contractors on both technical and commercial aspects.
• Participate in pre-construction engineering, including design development, technical submittals, construction details, and sub-contract management.
• Oversee services coordination and address any issues.
• Provide technical expertise to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and construction teams.
• Mentor and guide team members in their roles.
