Are you a passionate and talented Teacher of Design Technology with a Textiles specialism, who is looking for a new opportunity to inspire and educate young minds? We are seeking a Teacher of Design Technology, Textiles, to join a school in Bromley, London from April 2024. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to the growth and development of students' Textiles abilities, within a well-established and supportive Design Technology department. As a Teacher of Design Technology, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the personal development of the school’s students. Your responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that align with the KS3 and KS4 Design Technology curriculum.

* Developing and implementing schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and abilities of the students.

* Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies for improvement.

* Collaborating with other members of the DT department to develop and enhance the Textiles curriculum and resources.

* Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, and maintaining effective communication channels.

To be considered for this Design Technology Teacher, Textiles role, you should meet the following requirements:

* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in a related subject.

* Proven experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a track record of achieving excellent results.

* Strong subject knowledge of Textiles

* Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to thrive.

* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
