Site operatives required to cover all ECC recycling sites in Essex.
Flexible hours from 32 to 48 per week, depending on requirements to cover holiday and sickness.
Sites open Monday to Sunday so must be prepared to work at weekend.
· Hours: 08:45-17:15 (8 hours)
· Shifts: 4 to 6 days per week
Must be able to drive with own transport to work on various sites. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF NO TRANSPORT.
Skills, knowledge, and experience.
· Assisting members of the public and keeping areas tidy.
· Some heavy lifting involved and standing for long periods of time.
· Must be computer literate.
· Experience of working within the waste industry and a forward facing customer environment.
· Ability to stay calm in difficult situations with good interpersonal skills.
· General good health, able to work on foot for lengthy periods of time.
Possible temp to perm placements.
Applicants must be 18+ years due to insurance and have steel toe capped boots
