Copello are pleased to be partnered exclusively with an established defence manufacturer based in Dorset, in the recruitment of an Bid Manager with a focus on Naval, Marine Aviation and general Defence applications.
As part of the Bids team this role supports the company with effective and efficient management of Bids and processing Purchase Orders (PO).
Within this role the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Interface with various internal stakeholders in the pursuit of compiling & creating winning bids & proposals for the business.
* Collaborating internally with Sales, Engineering, Commercial, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Project Management to gain insight and information needed.
* Fully qualifying and understanding client needs.
* Full project lifecycle
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in delivering complex bids and tenders.
* Proactive and able to work independently using own initiative.
* Worked closely with the bids team in a high-pressure environment to demanding timelines and liaising with cross functional teams during the bid process preparation.
* Background working within a Defence / Aerospace / Marine / Avionics business.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent user of MS Applications, particularly Word and Excel
