Role and responsibilities
* Leading the Testing output with direct responsibility for the Test Technicians
* Planning the Test work on the rigs
* Leading the planning with the various internal and external stakeholders to meet all commercial and internal obligations on time
* Driving the Test SOP to Quality standards
* Ensuring that Test Requests / Process are understood, achievable and delivered
* Planning and ensuring that test calibrations are performed and kept up to date
* Ensuring that all Quality process and documentation is controlled
* Attending project planning meetings
* Managing training of Test staff to keep up-to-date on all equipment and processes.
* Owning and Driving the H&S requirements for the operation of the test cells
* Being able to follow internal standards and procedures including quality related requirements
PROFILE/SKILLS
* Good knowledge and experience of powertrain systems and components.
* Previous experience within a powertrain test environment
* Flexibility to adapt to different tasks
* Good Word and Excel skills
* Excellent documentation and traceability skills
* Having a ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ attitude
* Being innovative, proactive and able to provide alternative solutions to issues
* Experience with originating Quality, H&S and SOP document
