Full Time
Monday- Thursday
7:00am-5:30pm
30-minute unpaid lunch and 2x 15-minute paid breaks
£27,955.20- £32,115.20 per annum
We are recruiting for a well-established business in the Burton area. They are a family feel business and will make you feel a part.
Pertemps are looking for a talented welder to join their friendly team.
Responsibilities:
Jigging, tacking, and welding products from standard jigs, or shop drawings.
Using and maintaining machines to cut, drill, punch, and bend steel.
Reading and interpreting written workshop instructions and drawings.
Strictly following health and safety requirements.
Preparing welded products for dispatch.
Working as a team to maintain deadlines.
Maintaining a clean and tidy work space through good housekeeping.
Skills:
Experience in MIG welding (No qualifications required)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Motivated to work.
Ability to work as a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A basic understanding of maths is essential.
