Our client is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Catering Team Member to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and food across a variety of operations.

Job Purpose
You will be responsible for contributing to a positive and efficient working environment while ensuring our catering services meet the highest standards. You will work collaboratively within the team to deliver exceptional food and service across various operations, including race days, conferences, events, clubhouses, cafes, and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow work schedules, specifications, and menus to ensure consistent quality.
* Prepare and present food to the agreed company standards.
* Adhere to all food safety and health & safety policies and procedures.
* Practice responsible stock control procedures.
* Support the front-of-house team in serving food.
Teamwork
* Foster positive communication between catering, service staff, and other departments.
* Collaborate with stores and kitchen teams to ensure safe and timely food delivery.
* Lead the kitchen in the absence of the senior chef (if applicable).
* Conduct daily food safety checks using designated protocols.
* Communicate allergen information and service details to the serving team.
Performance
* Attend weekly and event planning meetings as required.
* Monitor food wastage and production levels to optimise efficiency.
* Maintain accurate allergen and food safety information.
* Ensure adherence to opening and closing procedures.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
* Be proactive in your duties and contribute to the smooth operation of the catering service.
Key Relationships
* You will work collaboratively with various teams across the organisation.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
* Experience working in a fast-paced retail catering environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining organisation and efficiency.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
* Friendly, professional, and approachable personality.
* Full clean UK driving license (if applicable).
* Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Working knowledge of HACCP and COSHH regulations.
* Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings.
