Role & Responsibilities:

* Supervising health, safety, and environmental activities, encompassing RAMs, RAMs Assessments, inductions, toolbox talks, and plant inspections.

* Maintaining meticulous daily records and diary sheets for future reference.

* Deploying both directly employed and subcontracted/specialist labour.

* Facilitating ongoing communication and coordination with the main contractor and other subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.

* Conducting thorough inspections of work performed by both direct employees and subcontractors to ensure quality, progress, and satisfactory completion.

* Documenting and monitoring progress of work to track project milestones effectively.

* Overseeing the progress of the main contractor to ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines and schedules.

* Managing the delivery of bulk orders to meet client deadlines, while also handling day-to-day ordering requirements.

* Coordinating the attendance of specialist subcontractors on-site.

* Providing necessary information for cost variation investigations as required.

* Supervising the training of apprentices assigned to the project.

* Ensuring compliance of all work with drawings and specifications, whether performed by in-house operatives or subcontractors.

* Arranging and supervising commissioning and testing upon project completion, including compliance checks with specifications, snagging, operational handover, and final site clearance to meet high standards.

The ideal candidate:

Preferred qualifications for the ideal candidate include at least 4 years of experience in a related role within a contracting environment. Essential qualifications include:

* City & Guilds Electrical Installation certification

* NVQ Level 3

* ECS Gold Card or equivalent.

Additionally, holding City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection certification along with familiarity with BS7671:2018 Wiring regulations would be beneficial.

* Strong client facing skills.

* A desire to embrace training and development and progression within a business.

* SSSTS or SMSTS
