Job Title: Housing Standards Officer
Location: Derby
Pay Rate: £20 P/H
Job Type: Full Time/Contract
The Role
To deliver specialised statuory enforcement indluding the provision of technical, specialist and general support wirhin the Housing Standards Team in the Communities, environment and Regulatory Services Directorate.
To inspect dwellings and enforce statutory provisions to ensure compliance with the authorities' statutory obligations, and provide guidance, information, and training to landlords to aid their compliance.
To prepare, monitor and authorise legal and other documentation, and to instigate legal proceedings to ensure compliance with the authorities' statutory obligations under guidance from a senior officer.
To gather, analyse, co-ordinate and interpret data to support the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness to maintain public safety and support landlords.
