Position: Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 3 & 4

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students in various secondary schools across Derby. This role involves assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities and working with small groups of students to enhance their learning experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support in classrooms for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Assist the class teacher in delivering lesson plans and activities.
Work with small groups of students to provide additional academic support.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students with their individual learning needs and development.
Contribute to the overall educational experience by engaging with students and encouraging their participation.
Requirements:
Experience working in schools within the UK is essential.
Familiarity with the UK education system and Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A patient, approachable, and flexible attitude.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development are desirable.
