Job Title; HGV Technician
Salary; £35,100 to £42,120 per annum plus overtime and shift allowance
Shift Pattern; Monday to Friday rotating shifts 6:00am – 3:30pm and 12:30pm – 10:00pm
Location; Leicester
Our client has built a reputation as one of UK’s largest independent commercial vehicle sales, service & solution providers and are still a family owned and ran business. Due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their engineering team.
HGV Technician Role;
* Carry out routine inspections maintenance service and repairs on franchised and non-franchised marques including trailers to industry standard
* Carry out a wide range of defect repairs.
* Fault diagnosis and rectification using the manufacturer’s computer system and tooling.
* Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems correctly and in line with warranty protocol.
HGV Technician Candidate;
* Previous experience in a similar role with emphasis on commercial vehicles
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Numerate and literate with IT skills
* HGV licence desirable but not essential
