We are currently exclusively retained on a search for an exceptional Operations Director to lead the exciting next chapter for a growing care group in the Midlands.
Our client is a well-established, growing and forward-thinking care organisation with a fantastic reputation for their positive internal culture and high standards of care. Across their homes they provide nursing care services for elderly residents with a focus on providing quality care first and foremost.
The Group currently operate across the Midlands with new care homes in process of being introduced in line with a strategic growth agenda. All their homes provide care for elderly residents living with dementia and support varying complexities of care requirements.
This is a strategic position with a focus on operational improvement from a quality and compliance perspective. We are looking for a Operations Director with a continuous improvement mindset and proven track record in developing a culture of high performance. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to oversee the operational leadership of the existing care businesses, while implementing best practice across the future tranches of acquisitions and purpose-built homes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensure the business operates to the highest standards, complying with Group policy, procedures and all regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Ensure all Policies, Procedures and Documentation are up to date and acted upon.
* Ensure the Operational Teams have measurable objectives, regular reviews of performance and the opportunities to develop skills, leading to a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* To be visible across the group and be familiarised with the homes' day-to-day operations, to be able to anticipate and address potential risks and challenges arising.
* Lead the execution of the Group's vision, mission & values along with the business drives and goals.

The Operations Director will demonstrate the following:
* A proven track record of a successful career to-date working as an Operations Director or a similar position with experience within a scale-up care home environment.
* Have experience defining and implementing policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Strong business acumen with exceptional judgment, particularly in measuring and managing risks.
* Excellent knowledge of the care industry including regulatory, contractual frameworks and government legislation
* Demonstrable evidence of innovation in service delivery
