We are currently looking for skilled labourers to work for a client based in Northampton to support with building temporary structures for events. This is a temp to perm opportunity working as part of a team who specialise in the erection of temporary structures such as marquees, buildings, and office structures. IN the role you will have the opportunity to work overtime. MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE & PASSPORT.
For the role you will need to have experience in a construction on labouring type role and be a hands-on worker. Ideal experience would include scaffolding, marquee work, roofing, or events. This position will be working LOTS of overtime which is paid at a premium rate and will involve travel around the UK and abroad using company vehicles.
Pay Rate: Average salary of £40,000
Location: Northampton based yard
Hours: Must be prepared to work 50+ hours each week. The role will involve working Monday - Friday with overtime on weekends. Will require early mornings and evening work. YOU MUST BE FULLY FLEXIBLE.
Duties:
Working in a team and taking responsibility.
Erect and assemble metal buildings according to blueprints and specifications.
Loading and unloading vehicles with structure parts.
Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to assemble building materials.
Follow site health & safety.Requirements:
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg.
You will be expected to work varying hours including attending site early in the morning and working into the evening.
The role will require weekend work, paid at overtime rates.
Must have a driving license.
Must have an in-date passport.
Preferably have construction-based tickets (Forklift, telehandler, Slinger Signaller, Crane Lift, First Aid, Banksman, Vehicle Marshall, NPORS, IPAF)All travel costs and hotel stays will be paid for by the client.
