Role overview:
* Prepare/finalise and submit Legal Aid Bills
* Apply for Payments on Accounts (POA)
* Knowledge of VHCC submissions and CCMS system
* Liaise with the relevant bodies concerning Counsel Fees, Court fees, Process Server fees and Disbursements in a timely manner.
* Chase final orders from the Court and chase Legal Aid Certificates
* The role involves other necessary tasks to aid in the progression and management of client cases.
What you will need as a Senior Legal Cashier:
Successful applicants will need experience in Legal Aid Billing gained from a law practice focusing on Family Law and have a strong understanding and good knowledge of all aspect of Family Legal Aid. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team. Excellent IT Skills including strong proficiency with Excel.
