QUALIFIED NURSE (RGN/RMN)
CAMDEN
Up to £22.60 per hour
My client is one of the leading healthcare providers the UK. They are looking for a Nurse to work in a purpose-designed building in Camden, London, close to local shops and amenities. There are excellent transport links with Chalk Farm Underground Station just a short walk away. The home has strong links with the local community providing opportunities to join interest groups and local events.
In this role you will:
* Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life
* Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our resident’s physical, social and psychological needs
* Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation
* Build the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
* Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
For this post you must have:
* A nursing qualification and Valid NMC Pin
* Experience of working in a Nursing home
* Up to date clinical experience
* Knowledge of CQC standards
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to lead a care team
* The ability to work weekends on a rota basis
