Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to come and work in our Essex branch, based in the town centre of Witham. You will be working in a small team on our technical and engineering desk.

Prime Appointments are a well-established, family run independent recruitment agency who have been operating in East Anglia for over 30 years. Specialising in manufacturing, production, warehouse, office & finance positions.

This role is a 40-hour week, Monday - Friday, working hours between the times of 8.30am and 5.00pm, the base salary for this position is between £24,000 - £26,000 & you can make commission to increase your salary further. On target earnings of between £30 - £40k by end of first 12 -18 months. However, this is uncapped, so potential to do far better!

Trainee Recruitment Consultant Duties:

Recruiting for various positions that range from Welders, Assemblers, Maintenance Engineers, Bench Joiners etc.
Resourcing for candidates on a variety of job boards
Carrying out candidate interviews to assess their suitability against client specifications
Contacting clients to see if we can help with any live jobs
Consulting with clients to ascertain full job specification giving advice on salaries as well as negotiating fees
Attending client visits to build relationships and learn about their business needs
Liaising with candidates throughout entire process, ensuring the best customer service is always provided
Consistently meeting your weekly KPI's
Writing, posting and reviewing adverts
Managing your own desk and workloadExperience required:

As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will have EXCELLENT communication, time management and organisational skills
Self-motivation, a desire to succeed, and a proactive and positive attitude is essential
Confidence to pick up the telephone & speak to anyone from candidates to director level
Comfortable working in a small team of 3 staff
Ideally educated to 'A' level standardBenefits:-
