Commercial Services Group are looking for a well organised individual with a strong work ethic to play a crucial role in processing all bank transactions across all legal entities on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. It is essential that the Apprentice Cashier maintains confidentiality and holds sensitive documentation securely at all times.

Key duties -

Assist in the processing of all cheques, BACS and credit card receipts on a daily basis, ensuring all items are posted within 2 days of receipt

Solving cash queries and unidentified receipts on the suspense account

Deal with unpaid cheques and failed Direct Debits

Maintain an effective filing solution

Batch cheques for banking and processing
What we need from you -

Competent use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Outlook

Level 2 Qualification in both English and Mathematics

Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines

Strong communication skills both verbally and in written format

Capability to work effectively as part of a team
