A leading company in the construction and recycling machinery industry is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in heavy plant and construction equipment maintenance and repair.
Main Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and breakdown repairs on various machinery, including Hyundai, Terex, Sennebogen, and other recycling and waste machinery products.
Handle warranty and damage repairs.
Conduct site visits across various regions.
Provide clear and detailed reports of work performed and necessary repairs using an engineer iPad.
Ensure 100% recovery of managed tasks.
Vehicle and Communication:
Maintain the company vehicle and report any defects.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Work Experience Requirements:
Strong background in the plant industry is essential.
NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
Preferably holds a CSCS card.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and software, including engine diagnostics.
Capable of thriving in a busy and ever-changing environment.
High attention to detail and conscientiousness.
Dealer experience is preferred but not essential.
Education Requirements:
Good general education, including proficiency in English, Maths, and IT.
Valid driving license.
Additional Details:
Manufacturers training will be provided.
Must be willing to travel outside of the UK for manufacturers training courses.
Full in-house system training will be provided.
Tool allowance of £40.00 per month.
VW Crafter Van with racking and specialist tooling provided.
