This finance opportunity is based at our Shildon site to support all AP and AR Ledgers for the UK companies. To Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and customers, ensure integrity of financial systems, policies, and processes and support a culture where finance is a service function that adds value and is not seen as a business overhead.
The role is to provide general accounting support to the finance leadership team to work and support across a range of financial functions and responsibilities and maintain process controls and account reconciliations.
Flexibility to work across finance functions is required and to resolve queries and problems with suppliers, customers, or documentation in a timely fashion. Processing of invoices, customer queries and to ensure internal processes and procedures are followed at all times. To collate AP and AR metrics such as invoice failure types and to support the finance team to ensure the integrity of financial processes, ledgers, records, and controls are met.
The skills and knowledge required are QBE or a recent University/College graduate looking for a development role. Proficient ERP / IT skills are required with the ability to develop positive working relationships, Good communication skills – both written and verbal are required along with, an analytical, challenging mindset with attention to detail.
