Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Building Surveyor to join our clients team. The Building Surveyor will play a key role in providing expert advice and technical support to clients, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments to identify defects, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

* Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and cost estimates.

* Provide professional advice on matters such as building regulations, planning permission, and compliance with relevant legislation.

* Assist clients in developing strategies for maintenance, refurbishment, and conservation of existing buildings.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the process.

* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.

* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to provide informed and relevant advice to clients.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or related field.

* Chartered membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional body.

* Proven experience in building surveying, including conducting surveys, preparing reports, and providing consultancy services.

* Strong technical knowledge of building construction, defects diagnosis, and building regulations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

* Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
